Devon’s premier tackle shop, Exeter Angling Centre is situated in the vibrant West Quarter of the city. Established in 1979, all the major brands are stocked, if we don’t have the item you require in stock the Angling Centre can obtain it within a few days.

We have three floors packed with the latest rods, reels and terminal tackle.  A host of other gear including clothing, shelters and luggage is available for you to browse through at your leisure. We also endeavour to keep fresh and frozen bait in at all times, although if you require bait for a specific trip, then it is advisable to call the angling centre on 01392 436404 to order in advance.

The staff at Exeter Angling Centre are experienced in all angling disciplines, including carp, match, game, beach and boat fishing, so please feel free to ask any questions, after all, we are anglers too, and enjoy talking fishing!

How To Find Us

From The M5 Motorway Junction30, Follow the signs for the A379 City Centre. This will bring you to Countess Wear roundabout, take the 3rd exit marked City Centre.

Continue to follow the City Centre signs going straight on through the double traffic lights. Take the left turn into Smythen Street, opposite Market Carpets and we are 200 yards down this road on the left, off the main car park.
