Taking MAG reels to a new level the Penn Mag 2 has excellent distance, power and control. Looks are similair to the old 525 Mag reel, but when you take at look at what this reel has to offer, then the differences become clear.

A new magnetic breaking system, gives you full precise control from zero to maximum breaking, giving long and much smoother casts.

Tackling rough ground stretches isnt a problem for the Penn Mag2, with the reel coming with a powerful marine grade bronze main gear.

6 shielded stainless steel ball bearings and anti reverse help ensure the reel is constantly smooth.

Other features of the Penn 525 Mag 2 Reel include; a new patented Versa-Drag system which uses HT-100 washers and has a positive click adjustment, forged aluminium spool and a narrow spool and cage.

Line capacity of 256m of 0.38 nylon makes this multiplier a good contender as a distance casting reel with some 12lb line, weighing 414g.
