Completely overhauled and redesigned, and now with a Baitrunner Spool System as standard, the Shimano Aerlex 8000 XTA is a great compromise for anglers wanting big pit distance casting performance, combined with the balance of a more traditional sized reel.

Coming in a charcoal grey, with gunsmoke and silver components, this reel features Shimanos Baitrunner Spool II Facility, that allows for a quick change from clutch to Baitrunner in a half turn of the spool.

Features of the Shimano Aerlex 8000 XTA include; a shielded stainless steel bearing, 2 speed oscillation line lay, and cold forged aluminium gearing.

The reel has a gear ratio of 4.6:1, line capacity of 350yds of 17lb and weighs 610g.
