DELIVERY & RETURNS
We currently only ship to addresses within England, Scotland and Wales.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee any delivery times but we will always try and get your order to you as quickly as possible.
We ship using either Royal Mail who deliver Monday to Saturday or a courier who deliver Monday to Friday.
Orders will have delivery calculated at checkout.
Rates range from £1.50 for a gift voucher up to
£20.00 for longer items like rods and heavier items like
barrows. Unfortunately sending long length items is now very
IMPORTANT - Refusal of deliveries, unwanted orders and missed deliveries
Once an order has been placed, you have made a contract with Exeter Angling to accept these goods. Please do not refuse any deliveries once an order has been dispatched by us. If a delivery is refused, missed or unwanted you will be refunded minus the original delivery fee and the return delivery fee of £15.99. This is not a money making exercise for us as these represent the costs that we get charged from the delivery companies. If you do not require an order or there is an issue or a problem please contact us ASAP.
Missing, damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
If a product is missing, damaged, faulty or the incorrect item has been sent, then please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Any item that was faulty at the point of sale may be returned for free repair, replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase and the faulty item is returned complete with all components.
For items to be returned more than six months after the time of purchase the same above applies but in addition, evidence of fault at the time of sale will be required.
Returning an item bought online
14-day Returns Guarantee - Our 14-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact). We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. The cost and responsibility of returning these goods lies with the customer.
When returning goods to us please enclose a letter with the goods explaining the problem and provide your name and address, contact details and what you ordered.
Please return items using Royal Mail on the First Class Recorded service, if any other service is used we will only reimburse you the equivalent cost of it being sent with the Royal Mail First Class Recorded service. If your item is too large to be sent with this service please discuss this with us before returning.
If an item you have bought from us has broken in normal use and is outside the 14 day guarantee, but still under warranty with the manufacturer, then please return it to us along with a letter explaining the problem, giving your name and address, contact details and order number. You will be liable for the delivery costs to and from us.
Generally, items must be inspected by a manufacturer’s representative before any replacements can be issued.
All items that are returned dirty and/or wet will be retuned un-repaired at your expense, before even being evaluated.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
